Kulinarischer Salon #2: Brazilian Supper

Kakadu invites you to take part in the 2nd theme night we present: Kulinarischer Salon #2

This events combines: a guest cook who brings his special food and recipes to Kakadu, art/music/performance/storys and sitting together at one table and open all senses!

This time our guest cook is Uri – a beautiful power Lady from Brazil, cooking Brazilian soups! Besides being a great cook, she is a performer and actor, too. She brings the singer Nina Graeff and the great afro-brazilian dancer Murah Soares!

Feb 3rd / 7pm:

Brazilian cultural soup!

For all Brazilians living in Berlin and also those who love Brazilian culture, you cannot miss this event that is meant to awaken the senses.

Brazilian gastronomy, music, performance, poetry, colors, and tastes in Germany; everything together in a winter evening full of warmth.

The aim is to bring together Brazilians living in Berlin as well as people interested in Brazilian culture. We’ll sit together at a big table in order to eat, tell stories, sing, and be happy!

In Brazil, we are used to showing our happiness all the time, which means also during the meals! We invite you to also share this happiness.

In our menu, there will be classic foods from Brazil like: seafood soup, mocotó soup, green soup, as well as vegetarian ‘friendly’ beans, and vegetarian bobó.

You will find all those typical flavors from Brazil that Brazilians and Brazilian lovers always miss.

The dishes have been chosen by also taking the local taste into account. This way, we wish to please not only Brazilians, but also Germans and people from all over the world who live in Berlin.

High quality live Brazilian music will also be part of this wonderful event.

Menu

Seafood soup: a typical Brazilian soup with dendê oil and coconut milk.

Green soup: a Portuguese recipe nicely remodeled by Brazilians, which takes sausage and kale – an adapted version of kale, but still pretty good.

Mocotó: for those who miss that Brazilian love, here it is! Spicy paws from cate with sausage and other vegetables.

Vegetarian bobó – cassava cream with vegetables, dendê oil and coconut milk.

Vegetarian friendly beans – black beans with smoked tofu.

See you there! Feb 3rd / 7pm / Kakadu Berlin Wedding

Team

guest cook: Uriara Maciel
